Some of the original designs and garment adaptations from "Picnic in the Park," pages 26-36, were incorrectly credited in the March '04 issue. We apologize for any confusion in this matter.
Jan Wilson created the crazy quilt bodice from the cover and page 28 and adapted the patterns for the capri pants and tucked shirt, page 27.
Carol Murray and Jan Wilson designed the flip-flop appliqué, pages 30 & 31.
Carol Murray was responsible for the pattern adaptation of the white pima wale piqué dress, page 33 and the sleeve adaptation of the floral print dress, pages 26 & 36.
Additional information on the "Heirloom Legacy, Lalla" kit:
Yardage has been calculated according to the following dress lengths:
Size 1=21", Size 2=23 1/2", Size 3=25 1/2", Size 4=28",
Size 5=30", Size 6=32"
A 4" hem has been planned for sizes 1-3; a 6" hem has been planned
for sizes 4-6. Be sure to plan your layout carefully before cutting out. The
T-shape will need to be cut beside one of the skirt lengths, therefore it is
imperative that you DO NOT cut the skirt length all the way across the fabric
width. The lace yardage has been calculated on a 2:1 ratio. It is advisable to
plan your lace lengths for each components of the garment before cutting.
