Instructions

Read all instructions carefully before beginning. Seam allowances are 1/4" unless otherwise noted.

Cut out all pattern pieces. From main fabric, cut 2 needlecase covers, 121/2" x 83/4". From contrasting fabric, cut 2 each for needlecase pages in the following sizes:

6 1/2" x 9"
6 1/2" x 9 1/2"
6 1/2" x 10"
6 1/2" x 10 1/2"

Eight 6 1/2" x 4" vinyl pieces for pockets

Note: Cut vinyl with paper scissors, and pin within seam allowances. Pinholes will be covered by bias binding.

Cut bias strips 1 1/4" wide. Approximately 5 1/2 yds. of bias binding are required. Fold bias in half lengthwise; press. Fold raw edges to inside and press.

Needlecase cover:  Baste wrong sides of needlecase cover together. With 1 1/3 yds. of bias binding, encase raw edges of needlecase, mitering corners. Topstitch.

Needlecase pages: With the two fabric pieces measuring 6 1/2" x 10 1/2", place right sides together. Stitch along short sides, leaving long sides open. Turn and press.
