Materials:

6 inches of patriotic grosgrain ribbon
Red, white, blue decorative fabric star
Tack pin
Fabrie-tac
Fray-Check

Instructions:
After crossing the two ends of 6-inch ribbon forming one loop, use a tack pin at the point of intersection to hold the loop in place. Glue decorative star on top of tack pin with Fabrie-Tac. Use Fray Check on cut ends of ribbon to prevent ends of ribbon from unraveling.

Banner Pin

Materials:
6 inches of 1 1/2î patriotic ribbon
Fabrie-tac
Fray-Check
Bar pin
USA letter shank buttons

Instructions:
Cut a "V" at the bottom of the 6-inch ribbon piece. On the top 6-inch ribbon piece, fold over raw edge,  and then fold over again to enclose raw edge. Use Fabrie-tac to hold the folded edge in place. Let dry. Then attach bar pin to the back of the ribbon just on top of the folded ribbon edge. Let dry completely. Using the USA letter shank buttons, sew each letter in the center of the ribbon. You may use a water-soluble pen to mark the place for each letter. Apply Fray Check to the "V" at the bottom of the ribbon.
