1. Prewash and dry all fabrics except organdy. With a water soluble marker, trace outline of bodice onto white fabric.

2. Trace outline of pig pieces onto pink fabrics with water soluble marker.

3. Add outline of face. Glue nose and ear pieces (on darker pink fabric) to pig face with glue stick.

4. Center pig onto bodice piece, securing with glue stick.

5. Place organdy over entire bodice piece. Pin to secure.

6. Stitch around pig (without stitching into pink fabric) using 1 strand of matching floss with a small running stitch. Stitch around ears and nose. A backstitch forms mouth.

7. Add French knot eyes using 1 strand of black floss. For nostrils, stitch 2 small lazy daisies.

8. Baste organdy to bodice, stitching just inside drawn line. Cut out along drawn line and soak to remove marking. Air dry bodice and press.

9. Mark embroidery placement. To form tail, bring needle up at center left of pig. Twist ribbon and bring needle to back of fabric at top of tail. Secure twists by tacking. Complete silk ribbon embroidery.
